Assignment 1: Observation.
Watch people. Identify and record at least 13 of the 15 examples of non-verbal forms of communication. Include information about the person, the audience, the situation, and your perception because of the behavior.
Example:
Good/poor posture: I was watching CNN interview a politician about his response to President Obama’s speech. This was a live interview, and he was seated in a chair at a desk. His posture was straight, his arms weren’t resting on the desk and I was able to focus on his words. Because of his proper posture, he came across as confident and knowledgeable in what he was saying to the reporter.
